What if your boredom isn’t burnout?

Hey love,

Ever felt like you’re just existing through your days —
checking boxes, showing up, getting it done…
but somewhere in the quiet, you hear:
“Is this it?”

This week on the Midlife Moxie podcast, I’m diving into that exact moment.
The one where your life looks good — but feels beige.
The one where you realize success doesn’t always equal satisfaction.

But here’s what I want to offer you today —
Not just a podcast link, but a lifeline:

That ache you feel?
That boredom that won’t go away?
It’s not a problem.
It’s a portal.

Your brain’s trying to keep you safe —
repeating what’s familiar, even if it’s no longer fulfilling.
But you can teach it something different.
Something true.

Here are 3 gentle shifts you can make today to start that rewiring:

🌀 Name the numb
Don’t push past it.
When you feel yourself flatlining mid-day, say it out loud:
“I feel disconnected right now.”
Your body can’t shift what your brain won’t name.

🌀 Micro-reclaim your rhythm
Even 5 minutes of choosing you matters.
A walk. A playlist. A stare-out-the-window moment with no guilt.
Not because it’s “self-care.” Because it tells your nervous system:
“I matter too.”

🌀 Flip the question
Instead of “Is this all there is?” ask:
“What part of me have I abandoned… and how can I invite her back today?”
The answers may surprise you. Or sting. Or both.
That’s the work. And it’s beautiful.

Listen to Episode 2: Is This All There Is?
It’s raw. It’s real. And it’s everything I wish someone had said to me 10 years ago.

👉 Grab something to drink, sit down and listen in.

Oh — and if this email feels a little more “me,” that’s because it is.
I’m back to my old email platform.
The switch I made?
It just didn’t feel right in my body.
And if I’ve learned anything in midlife, it’s this:
When something feels off — we don’t force it. We come home.

You’re not crazy. You’re just waking up.
And I’m here, quietly clapping for you every step of the way.
